The road runner is among Goro's rarest bird motifs. This pendant features the road runner in sterling silver with K18 gold detail, flanked by a gold claw and silver claw, six silver feathers in three sizes, and a pair of silver heart top pendants. The result is one of the more elaborate setups to come through the collection.

Red beads line the leather cord, providing colour against the silver and gold metalwork. The arrangement reflects the layered, symmetrical compositions that Goro Takahashi favoured, with matched pairs of feathers and claws fanning outward from the central bird.

Pool water is not recommended. Swimming pools are usually treated with chlorine, and chlorine reacts with sterling silver. So depending on how much chlorine is in the pool, you’ll probably have to clean your silver with a silver polishing cloth if you’re swimming frequently.
