Goro's XL feathers represent the pinnacle of the atelier's craft. This right-facing version pairs sterling silver with an 18K gold eagle soldered at the base, plus an additional metal accent that distinguishes it from the standard gold-tipped feather. Every vein and barb is shaped by hand in the Harajuku workshop, following methods unchanged since 1972.

The XL format was reserved for collectors who wanted a single, commanding pendant rather than layered combinations. Its right-facing orientation makes it the natural counterpart to the left-facing version, though each stands on its own as a complete piece.

Best worn alone on a leather cord at sternum length, where the gold eagle catches light against the oxidized silver body. The metal accent adds a third tonal layer that deepens with age.

Pool water is not recommended. Swimming pools are usually treated with chlorine, and chlorine reacts with sterling silver. So depending on how much chlorine is in the pool, you’ll probably have to clean your silver with a silver polishing cloth if you’re swimming frequently.
