Among the more restrained turquoise feathers in the Goro's collection, this XL left-facing version uses a sterling silver rope border instead of gold. The result is a cooler, more unified tone -- turquoise and silver without the warmth of gold -- that appeals to collectors who prefer a quieter material palette at maximum scale.

The silver rope border frames the hand-set turquoise with a twisted wire detail that catches light along its entire length. Each stone is naturally unique in its blue-green colouring and matrix, selected individually at the Harajuku workshop where Takahashi's apprentices continue his methods.

Pool water is not recommended. Swimming pools are usually treated with chlorine, and chlorine reacts with sterling silver. So depending on how much chlorine is in the pool, you’ll probably have to clean your silver with a silver polishing cloth if you’re swimming frequently.
