Carved by hand at Horizon Blue's Jiyugaoka studio, this 5cm feather pendant captures the natural curve and taper of a single plume in sterling silver. Founded in 2009 by Takayuki Hiratsuka, the brand is known for three-dimensional forms that produce shifting patterns of light and shadow across the metal surface.

Each vane is individually cut using the studio's signature delicate carving technique, giving the piece a depth and texture that flat casting cannot achieve. Gold accents along the quill add warmth to the cool silver body.

Sized to sit at mid-chest on a standard chain, the 5cm proportion works well as a solo pendant or paired with smaller Horizon Blue feathers on a layered arrangement.

Shower water is generally fine - there aren’t any super harsh chemicals in our tap water that would react significantly with your sterling silver jewelry. The soap and water can even help wash away any residue from your skin and dirt in the air that can also cause your silver to look dull.

Pool water is not recommended. Swimming pools are usually treated with chlorine, and chlorine reacts with sterling silver. So depending on how much chlorine is in the pool, you’ll probably have to clean your silver with a silver polishing cloth if you’re swimming frequently.
